Kabarak University Drama Club Takes Center Stage at National Drama Festivals

The lights dimmed, anticipation hung heavy in the air, and Kabarak University's Department of Music and Performing Arts took center stage at the recent National Drama Festivals held at the University of Embu. Our talented troupe brought their A-game, bagging a remarkable first place in the Mime category with their powerful performance, "Lone Survivor." The emotions were equally raw in the Play category, where "A Cry for Freedom" resonated with the judges, earning a well-deserved second-place finish.

This prestigious event, held from April 7th to 14th, showcased Kenya's finest in theatrical performance. But Kabarak's journey doesn't end here! We're thrilled to announce that our team is continuing to shine at the ongoing Gala performances today and tomorrow. Their dedication, creativity, and unwavering passion are a true testament to the exceptional caliber of our performing arts program.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the University's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Henry Kiplagat, and the entire University Management Board for their staunch support. Their commitment to cultivating a thriving arts scene at Kabarak University empowers our students to excel and share their gifts with the world. Stay tuned for further updates as our talented performers continue to captivate audiences at the Gala.
