| Kabarak University was established in 2000 by the 2nd President of Kenya, H.E Daniel Arap Moi, who is also the chancellor and sponsor.He is the Chairman of the Kabarak University Board of Trustees The instituition was established as a result of his visionary idea of setting up a Christian University that would meet the demand for higher education in Kenya and offer quality education based on strong moral principles. |

| The University's resolves to provide higher education in Biblical perspective was so timely especialy in the current society where honesty at work place and good morals count most. The Chancellor's efforts have not been in vain because kabarak University Alumni have proved tp be outstanding by the hard work and exemplary character they exhibit at their work places |
