Admission to the University Undergraduate Degree Programmes

Applicant’s overall grade in the Pre-University programme and pre-requisite subjects grades for a given degree course will be used as a basis for the selection of candidates to undergraduate degree programmes.
Preference for admission to Kabarak University for a Bachelor’s degree programme will be given to those who attain a minimum overall cumulative weighted average of 50% which translates to a mean grade of C. Other departmental requirements may apply.
In addition to these, the applicant must also receive a favourable recommendation from the Dean of Students as to their character, spiritual growth and commitment and his/her academic potential to study the preferred degree programme.
Applicants should note that a grade of C will not automatically guarantee acceptance of the student to his/her chosen programme since each programme has a limited enrolment slots available. Priority will therefore be given to students with the highest cumulative weighted average which means that students with the highest CWA will be chosen first and given priority in their choice of specific programmes.

• Subjects are designed to prepare students for competitive university degree programme of their choice at Kabarak University
• Courses commence three times in a year (January, May and December) and therefore students can register in any of the three blocks.
• Teaching patterns and assessments follow university practice and procedures and therefore transition from pre-university program to degree program is quiet easy.
• Small tutorial classes and consultation are available outside the normal lecture hours.
• Lecturers are highly skilled and sensitive to student’s individual needs
