SUMMARY

Professor of Information technology with over 20 years experience working in the ICT industry as a computer instructor in high school, technical institute instructor, University lecturer, ICT researcher and ICT administrator. A seasoned academician and researcher in information technology with extensive research experience in IT security and audit where I have participated in: design and development of: (i) a smart water meter using zigbee technology, (ii) a driver road safety index model to curb road carnage in Kenya, (iii) a risk exposure index for SMEs in Kenya, (iv) a threat matrix for smart devices in a Campus LAN and (v) adoptability model for digital evidence (vi) lecturers workload monitoring system. A Member of ISACA, internet society Kenya chapter and ITU-T focus group on Digital currency including Digital Fiat Currency (FG DFC). Current research in ICT include: designing a Risk Appetite model for organizations, Information Compliance Metric for Cyber laws among others
