Kabarak University Takes Center Stage at UNESCO Culture 2030 Indicators Workshop

Kabarak University is proud to announce its active participation in the kick-off workshop for the implementation of the UNESCO Culture 2030 Indicators, held in Nakuru County on March 28th and 29th, 2024. This important initiative signifies a major step forward in measuring and monitoring the impact of culture on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) outlined in the UN's 2030 Agenda.

The UNESCO Culture 2030 Indicators framework provides a critical tool for both advocacy and integration. It allows us to champion the role of culture in driving sustainable development while fostering its inclusion within national and local development plans and policies. This aligns perfectly with the UN Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF), promoting a collaborative approach to achieving a more sustainable future.

Kabarak University's involvement in this workshop reflects our deep commitment to fostering cultural understanding and its contribution to a thriving society. We are confident that the UNESCO Culture 2030 Indicators will be instrumental in guiding future development efforts and ensuring that culture plays its rightful part in building a better tomorrow.
