Kabarak University’s football team faced off against the Kenya National U20 squad, Harambee Stars U20, in a fast-paced friendly at the Kabarak University Sports Grounds.
Although the visitors secured a 2-0 victory, the scoreline doesn't tell the whole story. The Kabarak lads held their ground, showing grit, strong defensive structure, and quick transitions that kept the national team on their toes throughout the match.
Facing elite national talent gave our players a true test of match fitness and tactical awareness. Matches like this highlight the strength of Kabarak’s sports program, offering our athletes the exposure needed to compete at the highest levels.
A big thank you to the fans, students, and staff who came out to support #TeamKABU. We also thank the Harambee Stars U20 team for a solid game and wish them success in their upcoming international fixtures.
Our team takes away valuable lessons from this fixture as they prepare for the upcoming varsity league games.
