Kabarak University today hosted the Chairperson of the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), Dr. David Oginde PhD, and the Archbishop of the Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK), The Most Rev. Dr. Jackson Nasoore Ole Sapit, as the 2nd ACK Bishops and Clergy National Conference 2026 enters its final day. 

The visit began with a tree-planting exercise on the University grounds, where Dr. Oginda, Archbishop Ole Sapit and Kabarak University Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry K. Kiplangat, planted trees as a practical reminder of the need to care for the environment and the values that shape society.

The leaders later held a courtesy call to the Vice-Chancellor. Their meeting brought together two important areas of public life: ethical leadership and Christian formation. It also highlighted the role universities and faith institutions can play in shaping leaders who value integrity, responsibility and service.

Prof. Kiplangat welcomed the guests and spoke about Kabarak University's approach to education, which places academic learning alongside character and spiritual formation. He noted that the University seeks to prepare graduates who can make a positive contribution to their communities and the country.

The visit came on the eve of the conclusion of the 2nd ACK Bishops and Clergy National Conference 2026, which has brought together bishops, clergy and other delegates at Kabarak University. It also provided an opportunity to reflect on the shared responsibility of institutions, churches and national leaders in promoting integrity, responsible leadership and service to society.
