Kabarak University is pleased to inform members of the public and all candidates who qualified for conferment of various degrees and the award of diplomas and certificates in the 2025/2026 academic year that the 22nd Graduation Ceremony will take place on December 18, 2026, starting at 8:00 a.m. at the University Sports Ground, Main Campus, Kabarak.

1. Application for Graduation

Graduation candidates are required to apply online through the student portal by November 30, 2026.

2. Graduation List & Name Verification

• The Provisional Graduation List will be available on the student portal starting December 4, 2026.
• Candidates must confirm the correct spelling and order of their names. Any corrections should be reported in writing to the Registrar (Academic and Research) no later than December 7, 2026.
• Names will appear as recorded on the certificates submitted during admission:
• Undergraduate Programs: KCSE certificates or equivalent
• Master's Programs: Undergraduate certificates
• Postgraduate Diploma: Undergraduate certificates or Master's certificates
• PhD Programs: Master's certificates
• Prospective candidates whose names do not appear on the Provisional Graduation List are advised to consult their Head of Department or Dean of School for assistance.

3. Fee Clearance

Only candidates who have cleared all outstanding fees by November 30, 2026, will be included in the Final Graduation List. Candidates clearing fees after this deadline will be deferred to the next graduation ceremony in 2027.

4. Graduation Attire

• Collection: Candidates can pick up graduation attire from their respective Schools at the Main Campus from December 14 to December 16, 2026, upon presentation of a valid University ID and National ID/Passport.
• Return & Penalty: Attire must be returned to the Examinations Office between January 4 and January 15, 2027, during official working hours. Late returns will attract a penalty of Kshs. 1,000 per day overdue (excluding weekends).

5. Invitation Cards & Car Stickers

Each candidate will be issued two (2) invitation cards and one (1) car sticker upon collecting their graduation attire.

6. Rehearsal

Rehearsal will be conducted on December 17, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at the University Sports Ground. All candidates are required to attend the rehearsal dressed in full graduation attire.

7. Punctuality & Event Guidelines

Graduands must be punctual for both the rehearsal and the ceremony. On Graduation Day (December 18, 2026), graduands and invited guests should be seated at the University Sports Ground no later than 8:00 a.m.

Data Protection Notice: Attendees to the ceremony are considered to have consented to the taking of photographs and videos during the event, in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
