Minimum Admission Requirements

Candidates wishing to study the Certificate in Performing Arts must satisfy at least one of the following criteria:

• KCSE Direct Entry: KCSE mean grade D (Plain).
• Artisan Entry: KCSE mean grade D− (Minus) with an Artisan Certificate (KNQF Level 4) in Music, Performing Arts, Music Production, Film, Theatre, Mass Media, or related disciplines from an institution recognized by Kabarak University Senate, TVETA, and/or relevant regulatory authorities.
• Progressive Path: KCSE mean grade E with clear progression through KNQF Level 3 (Skills/Vocational Certificate) and KNQF Level 4 (Artisan Certificate) in a related discipline.
• Short Course Entry: Successful completion of a 3-month short course offered by Kabarak University in Music, Performing Arts, Music Production, Film, Theatre, Mass Media, or related disciplines, subject to approved progression requirements.
