Minimum Admission Requirements

Candidates wishing to study the Diploma in Performing Arts must satisfy at least one of the following criteria:

• KCSE Direct Entry: Minimum aggregate grade of C− (Minus).
• Craft / Vocational Certificate Entry: KCSE mean grade D (Plain) with a Craft Certificate/Vocational Training Certificate IV (KNQF Level 5) in Music, Performing Arts, Music Production, Film, Theatre, Mass Media, or related disciplines from an institution recognized by Kabarak University Senate, TVETA, and/or relevant regulatory authorities.
• Artisan Certificate Entry: KCSE mean grade D− (Minus) with an Artisan Certificate (KNQF Level 4) and evidence of clear progression to KNQF Level 5 in a related discipline.
• Progressive Path: KCSE mean grade E with clear and documented progression through KNQF Level 3 (Skills/Vocational Certificate), KNQF Level 4 (Artisan Certificate), and KNQF Level 5 (Craft Certificate) in a related discipline.
