Kabarak University and KIPPRA Join Forces to Boost Kenya's Digital Economy

On February 15th, 2024, officials from the Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA) paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Andrew Kipkebut, the Coordinator of Innovation and Business Incubation at Kabarak University. The visit served as a platform to discuss critical matters concerning Kenya's economic transformation, with a particular emphasis on leveraging innovation hubs to bolster the nation's digital economy.

This meeting holds immense significance as Kabarak University established its Innovation and Business Incubation Center in 2021 with a clear vision: to be a driving force behind Kenya's entrepreneurial ecosystem. The center's core objectives center around nurturing innovation and its successful translation into commercially viable ventures.

The KIPPRA visit underscores the growing recognition of Kabarak University's Innovation and Business Incubation Center as a key player in Kenya's innovation ecosystem. Through collaborative efforts like this, the center can solidify its position as a catalyst for digital transformation, empowering innovators and entrepreneurs to unlock their full potential and contribute to Kenya's economic prosperity.
