Kabarak University today hosted Cameras Africa for a hands-on media training session designed to enhance practical skills among students pursuing Mass Communication and Film & Theatre under the School of Music and Media. The training was part of the University’s ongoing commitment to bridging theory and practice through industry engagement and experiential learning.
The session brought together students eager to gain real-world exposure in photography, videography, and visual storytelling. Facilitators from Cameras Africa led practical demonstrations covering professional camera handling, composition, lighting techniques, and effective visual framing for both film and broadcast media. Students were also introduced to current industry standards and workflows, equipping them with skills essential in today’s dynamic media landscape.
