Kabarak University proudly celebrates a remarkable global recognition of our own staff member, Mr. David Kipchirchir Koech, a dedicated librarian at the Daniel T. Arap Moi Library.
Mr. Koech has been featured by the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) under Kenyan Stories, a notable international spotlight that highlights impactful library professionals shaping access to knowledge worldwide. An active member of the Kenya Library Association (KLA) and the founder of Library Matters Initiative Africa (LIM-AFRICA), Mr. Koech is a strong advocate for Open Access (OA) and Open Educational Resources (OER) across the continent. His work continues to advance inclusive access to information and strengthen library networks regionally and internationally.
