Kabarak University Welcomes New Staff Members Through an Inspiring Induction Program

Today, Kabarak University welcomed new members of staff at an induction seminar on the Main Campus. The programme was led by the Vice-Chancellor and members of The University Management Board (UMB) and attended by deans of schools, directors and heads of departments.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry K. Kiplangat, opened the seminar with a warm welcome. He reminded the new staff that joining Kabarak is more than a job. It is a call to teach, serve and lead from a Biblical Christian perspective.

The seminar introduced staff to the university’s vision, mission and core values: integrity, professionalism, innovativeness and being mindful of others. Short sessions covered key information new staff need to work well here, university structure, policies, the staff manual, service standards and performance monitoring. Practical resources such as the Medical Centre, dining services and staff development programmes were also explained.

Prof. Kiplangat closed by pledging the management’s support. He encouraged new staff to work together, keep learning, and represent Kabarak University with care and honesty.
