Kabarak University is proud to celebrate our Chess Team for clinching 2nd place at the 15th Edition of the Kenya University Sports Federation (KUSF) Women Championships, held at Taita Taveta University on 8 March 2026.
The championships featured 16 sports disciplines, including basketball, soccer, volleyball, athletics, netball, and indoor/mind sports such as chess, scrabble, and table tennis. Across all disciplines, 1,203 participants from 24 universities competed, highlighting the growing strength of women’s sports in Kenya.
Our chess team’s exceptional performance showcased their skill, strategy, and teamwork, making the Kabarak flag proud on the national stage. This achievement underscores the university’s commitment to nurturing talent and excellence in both athletic and mind sports.
