Student leadership goes beyond holding office. It is reflected in the ideas students champion, the talents they nurture, and the difference they make in the lives of others. This spirit took centre stage at the Kabarak University Students Organisation (KUSO) Awards 2026, held on 22 October.
The ceremony brought together the University community to recognise students whose contributions have made a meaningful impact on campus and beyond. The event was graced by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry K. Kiplangat, and Prof. Gladys Kiptiony, who joined students in celebrating their peers' achievements across different areas of student life.
The evening combined recognition with entertainment, as students enjoyed a variety of performances and applauded their fellow students as the award winners were announced. Beyond the celebrations, the awards provided an opportunity to acknowledge the leadership, creativity, talent and service that enrich the University experience.
