Finalists Honoured in Special Chapel Service

We held a special Wednesday chapel service dedicated to its final-year students, creating a meaningful space for reflection, gratitude, and inspiration as they approach the completion of their academic journey.

The service brought together students, staff, and the wider University community for a time of worship and encouragement. A key highlight of the gathering was the sharing of testimonies by final-year student representatives, who reflected on their personal journeys, challenges, and growth during their time at the University. Their stories of resilience, faith, and determination resonated deeply with the congregation, serving as a powerful source of inspiration.

Messages shared during the service emphasised the importance of upholding strong values, purpose, and integrity as the students prepare to transition into the next phase of their lives. The occasion also provided an opportunity for finalists to reflect on their achievements and the support systems that have shaped their experience.

In marking this important milestone, the University recognised the dedication, resilience, and growth demonstrated by the final-year students throughout their academic journey. As they prepare to transition into the next chapter, they are encouraged to carry forward the knowledge, values, and sense of purpose cultivated during their time at the University, with confidence in their ability to make meaningful contributions to society.

During the service, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry Kiplangat, acknowledged and welcomed a visiting delegation from the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication, who were at the University for the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions. This introduction highlighted the University’s continued efforts to build strategic partnerships that enhance academic and professional opportunities for its students.

The University extends its best wishes to all finalists as they embark on the next chapter of their journey.

May your light continue to shine brighter.
