A team from the Africa Youth Leadership Forum (AYLF) Kenya was hosted for a courtesy visit today in a meeting chaired by the Dean of Students, Dr. Dorcas Githaiga. Over the years, this partnership has played a pivotal role in developing the capacity of student leaders through transformative platforms such as the Annual Leadership Gathering and the National Prayer Breakfast. These engagements provide opportunities for deep reflection and nurture purpose-driven leadership, aligning with the institution’s vision of excellence and integrity.
The impact of this collaboration is clearly visible in the way it strengthens leadership capacity while nurturing a profound sense of service among our students. By providing safe and empowering spaces through the AYLF Transformational Learning Community (TLC) at both our Main and City Campuses, we are promoting an environment where growth and mentorship flourish. During the session, Dr. Githaiga reaffirmed the University’s unwavering support for these initiatives, recognizing them as vital components of the holistic education we provide to our student body.

Looking ahead, we are excited to deepen this collaboration and explore new frontiers to better support our students in their leadership journeys. Together with AYLF Kenya, Kabarak University remains steadfast in its commitment to nurturing a new breed of ethical, high-impact leaders. Under the guidance of the Office of the Dean of Students, we are not just training students for professional success; we are shaping the future of leadership for Kenya and the entire African continent.
