It is a proud moment for the Kabarak University community as we celebrate one of our own hitting the big leagues. Bonface Nyabuto, a standout talent and a student in our Diploma in Hospitality program (School of Business and Economics), has officially been signed by the Kenya Premier League (KPL) heavyweights, Kakamega Homeboyz F.C.
Bonface is a name that needs no introduction on our campus pitches. Throughout his time at Kabarak, he has been a pillar of the team. His discipline, tactical brilliance, and clinical eye for the game have helped the Kabarak University football team secure numerous accolades and trophies, cementing our reputation as a sporting powerhouse.
Whether it was a friendly under the lights or a high-stakes tournament, Bonface always brought the "Kabarak Spirit", a blend of excellence, passion, and humility.

At Kabarak University, we nurture talents for the world stage. Balancing the rigorous demands of a Diploma in Hospitality at the School of Business and Economics with the physical demands of top-tier football is no small feat. Bonface has proven that with focus and support, our students can excel both in the classroom and on the field.
The University Management, the Sports Department, and the entire student body congratulate Bonface on this well-deserved move. While we will miss his presence in the maroon and white jersey, we are thrilled to watch him shine in the Premier League.
"Bonface has been an exceptional ambassador for Kabarak University. We are immensely proud of his growth and wish him nothing but the best as he takes this big step into professional football," said the team coach.
Go forth and conquer, Bonface! The KPL isn't ready for what’s coming.
