Kabarak University's Spectacular Oathing, Pinning, and Candle Lighting Ceremony

Amidst the radiant glow of candlelight and the palpable aura of achievement, Kabarak University's School of Medicine and Health Sciences hosted a momentous ceremony at the Kabarak University K-law hall. It was an evening of Oathing, Pinning, Candle Lighting, and Graduates' Dedication Ceremony—a celebration that resonated far beyond the walls of the institution.

Distinguished by the presence of esteemed guests, including the University's eminent Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry Kiplangat, alongside revered members of the faculty and a consortium of stakeholders, the event was a testament to the exceptional standards upheld by Kabarak's students.

Addressing the gathering, representatives from the Ministry of Health, Nursing Council of Kenya, County Government, Clinical Officers Council Kenya, Public Health and Technicians Council, and Alumni echoed a chorus of commendation. "We have seen a great difference with Kabarak students," they proclaimed in unison, lauding the students' exemplary performance in the job market.

In a heartening display of support and affirmation, Nakuru County extended a resounding invitation to Kabarak University students for internship opportunities. The reputation of the university's graduates precedes them, paving the way for an eagerly anticipated influx of talent into the healthcare sector.

The Vice-Chancellor, in his impassioned address, steered the discourse towards the winds of change blowing through the domains of medicine and health. Emphasizing the transformative potential of new technologies, he espoused the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a harbinger of revolution. "AI could change the whole landscape," he remarked, inviting the graduating class to transcend their current qualifications and embrace the mantle of researchers, poised to pioneer solutions in healthcare.

This ceremony, an annual tradition, serves as a beacon of encouragement and preparation for the graduates venturing into the professional realm. It encapsulates not only a celebration of achievement but also a profound call to action—a call to embrace innovation, dedication, and the pursuit of excellence in the service of humanity.

The intersection of tradition and progress witnessed at Kabarak University's School of Medicine and Health Sciences illuminates a path forward—one guided by the legacy of outstanding accomplishment and the promise of transformative innovation.
