Kabarak University today hosted the School of Pharmacy Oath Taking and Graduands’ Dedication Ceremony, bringing together university leadership, faculty, students, parents, and industry partners to celebrate the academic journey and professional transition of the Class of 2025. Held under the theme “Empowering the Next Generation to Lead Quality Medicine Manufacturing,” a significant milestone for pharmacy graduates preparing to serve society with integrity, competence, and ethical responsibility.

The event was officially opened by Dr. Titus Suge, Dean School of Pharmacy, alongside members of the University Management Board, the School of Pharmacy faculty, and invited guests from the pharmaceutical industry and the Pharmaceutical society of Kenya (PSK). In his address, the dean commended the graduands for their perseverance and reminded them of the sacred trust placed upon pharmacists in safeguarding public health. The ceremony also featured remarks by Dr. Lydia Momanyi and Dr. Achoka rpresenting PSK, and a guest address by Dr. Nelson Odhiambo, Head of Quality at Dawalife Sciences, who emphasized quality assurance, professionalism, and innovation in pharmaceutical practice.
A key highlight of the ceremony was the oath-taking session, presided over by Hon. Fellow Prof. Francis Ndemo, during which the graduands formally committed themselves to ethical pharmaceutical practice and service to humanity. The program further recognized outstanding academic achievement through student speeches and awards, celebrating excellence and leadership within the graduating class. The event concluded with a dedication prayer, symbolic cake cutting, and fellowship, reinforcing the University’s commitment to holistic education grounded in moral values and professional excellence.

Through the School of Pharmacy, Kabarak University continues to nurture competent, ethically grounded, and globally competitive pharmacists equipped to contribute meaningfully to healthcare systems, research, industry, and community development.
