Kabarak University Engages Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) Delegation to Explore Strategic Financial Collaboration

Strengthening financial systems and promoting mutually beneficial partnerships were at the centre of discussions during a courtesy visit by a delegation from Diamond Trust Bank (DTB). The engagement focused on exploring areas of strategic collaboration aimed at supporting institutional financial operations, staff welfare, and student development.

The DTB delegation was received, on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, by Prof. Ronald Chepkilot, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration and Finance), alongside members of the University Management, in a meeting that underscored a shared commitment to building sustainable partnerships. The engagement provided a platform for in-depth discussions on a range of potential collaboration areas aligned with the University’s operational and academic objectives.

Key areas of discussion included efficient fee collection systems, tailored financing solutions, staff scheme loans, and comprehensive staff banking services designed to enhance financial convenience and well-being for employees. The meeting also explored opportunities for student internships, emphasizing the importance of bridging academic learning with practical industry exposure.

Both parties highlighted the role of innovative financial solutions in supporting institutional growth, staff empowerment, and student success.
