The week-long Cultural Week at Kabarak University came to a memorable close on the evening of 14th March with a vibrant Gala Night that brought together students, staff, and guests for a celebration of culture, fashion, and talent.
The event served as the grand finale of the cultural celebrations that had taken place throughout the week, providing students with an opportunity to express their creativity and showcase their diverse cultural identities. One of the most anticipated highlights of the evening was the fashion showcase, where contestants displayed a variety of stylish and creative outfits.
After an engaging and competitive showcase, Crystal Wanjiru was crowned Miss Kabarak, while Laurate Obegi emerged as Mr Kabarak. The two winners stood out for their confidence, stage presence, and ability to connect with the audience throughout the competition.
The evening was further energised by a special performance from Kenyan music star Nikita Kering, who graced the event as the guest artist.

The Gala Night marked a fitting conclusion to a week dedicated to celebrating diversity, unity, and cultural appreciation within the university community. Throughout the week, students participated in various activities that highlighted the richness of cultures represented at the institution.
As the celebrations came to an end, the event left behind lasting memories. The university continues to provide a platform for nurturing talent and an environment where students can express themselves, celebrate their heritage, and build a strong sense of community.
