Kabarak University and Kabarak TVET today jointly received an award for the Best stand embracing information technology and Communications system during the 2022 Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) Nakuru Show.
The team showcased a range of innovations that incorporated ICT and communications systems providing solutions to various agricultural challenges faced by farmers.
The event which was themed “Promoting Innovation & Technology in Agriculture and trade” attracted over 150 exhibitors and was presided by the Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Hon. Peter Munya.
Speaking during the official opening of the show, the agriculture CS urged farmers to diversify crop production which would minimize over-reliance on one crop.
