Kabarak University Goes the Extra Mile, Gives Blood; Gives Life!

Kabarak university has partnered with the ministry of health, Kenya Red Cross, Kenya Tissue and Transplant Authority, Damu KE, rotary club of Nakuru and Lions international in a two-day blood donation exercise that will be happening on the 19th and the 20th from 9:00 Am to 4:00 Pm outside the auditorium in Kabarak University Main campus.

Blood donation is a main issue to society as donated blood is lifesaving for folks that need it. Blood is scarce. There may be a scarcity of lively blood donors to meet the demand for increased blood. Blood donation is a therapeutic workout.

Universally, approximately 80 million units of blood are donated every year. One of the largest challenges to blood safety specifically is having access to safe and ok quantities of blood and blood merchandise. A secure supply of blood and blood components is critical, to enable a wide range of critical care processes to be performed in hospitals.

An appropriate understanding of blood donation practices isn't always reworking in donating blood. Interactive attention on blood donation must be organized to create focus and opportunities for blood donation.

Day one of the exercise is ongoing and huge numbers of students and staff making their way to the entrance of the auditorium to participate in this humanitarian activity.

Kabarak university wallows in the positive reception from the staff and students and thanks the fraternity in taking part in this exercise.
