Kabarak University proudly took part in the 7th Librarians and Archivists Gathering, hosted on September 26, 2025, at the Adventist University of Africa. The event, organized by the Jesuit Historical Institute in Africa (JHIA), brought together professionals from across institutions to reflect on the theme: “Records Management Systems, Procedures and Structures.”

The Kabarak University School of Law recently hosted the Ideal Lawyers’ Breakfast, a mentorship and networking forum designed to prepare first-year students for academic excellence and success in the legal profession. The event brought together students, faculty, and distinguished legal practitioners who shared valuable insights on navigating law school and building sustainable careers.

Kabarak University, in partnership with the Nakuru County Tourism Association (NCTA), proudly hosted the launch of a highly anticipated five-day Tourism Refresher Course program at the Nakuru City Campus. The event runs from Monday, 22nd September, to Friday, 26th September 2025, concluding with a graduation ceremony on the final day.

Kabarak University media students benefited from a one-day training session on digital democracy and countering misinformation, organized by the Constitution and Reform Education Consortium (CRECO) Kenya in collaboration with the Embassy of Finland in Nairobi. The training, held at the KABUO Conference Room, was part of the rollout of the Rapid Digital Alert Hubs Initiative, aimed at strengthening youth capacity to identify and combat mis/disinformation in the digital space.

The university chapel was filled with a spirit of gratitude and anticipation this Wednesday as the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry Kiplagat, addressed the community after being away on official duty. His message resonated deeply, blending a warm welcome with significant announcements that underscored the university's commitment to both spiritual and academic growth.

The atmosphere at Kabarak University grounds was nothing short of electrifying as our men’s football team faced off against AFC Leopards (Ingwe), one of Kenya’s most celebrated Premier League clubs. The friendly match drew excitement, pride, and immense support from students, staff, and fans who turned up to cheer the home side.
