Kabarak University’s 19th Graduation Ceremony: A Chronicle of Triumph, Innovation, and Academic Excellence

Kabarak University held its 19th Graduation Ceremony, a momentous occasion that marked the triumphant culmination of 1,869 candidates who successfully completed diverse academic programs. Reverberating with pride, Prof. Henry K. Kiplangat, the Vice-Chancellor, eloquently narrated the university's extraordinary journey and achievements, reflecting on the continuous commitment to providing a world-class education.

The ceremony was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including the Chancellor, Hon. Dr. Gideon Moi, a staunch advocate of the university's dedication to academic excellence. Dr. Moi reaffirmed Kabarak University's commitment to academic prowess and conferred various degrees, emphasizing the institution's relentless pursuit of educational distinction.

An indelible moment during the ceremony was the conferral of an honorary doctorate degree upon the emeritus Chief Justice Hon. David Maraga, recognizing his exceptional contributions to the legal profession.

The chief guest, Prof. Luis G. Franceschi, Assistant Secretary General of the Commonwealth, delivered a stirring speech that resonated with the audience, celebrating the university's commitment to holistic education.

The Vice-Chancellor highlighted the university's academic growth, including new STEM and humanities programs, accreditation of the Nakuru City Campus, and the launch of a TVET Institute. Kabarak University's strides in research, innovation, and strategic partnerships were commended, showcasing its commitment to academic distinction.

Gratitude poured forth to the Honorable Chancellor, Trustees, Governing Council, partner hospitals, county governments, and the unwavering support of parents and guardians, culminating in a heartfelt congratulatory message to the graduating class.
